First Aid Provision Standards

The Czech Red Cross has published a basic document to be used in the training of laymen in First Aid – the so called “First Aid Standards”.

This document worked out by five co-authors, members of the Czech Red Cross Experts Database, is not a textbook but a summary of important steps to be taken by laymen when providing First Aid . Details on textbooks published by the Czech Red Cross can be found on the page focused on editorial activities.

The First Aid Standards have been accepted by the Czech Minister of Health, Minister of Defense, Minister of the Interior, Minister of Education, Youth and Physical Education and Minister of Transport as the binding standards to be followed in the First Aid training of laymen in the Czech Republic.
